During our meetings in 2023, the Parish Council discussed the rising reports of burglaries and attempted burglaries in our villages and has been developing a response. To begin with, Darryl Preston, the Police Commissioner for Cambridge has kindly agreed to lead a public meeting in the Eversdens Village Hall at 7pm on January 11th 2024, to discuss his perspective on the situation and to answer our questions and receive our views. We are very grateful to Mr Preston for this opportunity to address crime in our villages and hope to see as many residents as possible attend.
